Pink Slips for Car Registration( now called Mobile Safety Check Inspections)
A “Pink Slip” (otherwise known as an eSafety Inspection) is a report that shows your vehicle is safe and road worthy.
If your vehicle passes the Pink Slip/eSafety check, we will send a copy of the report to Transport NSW electronically.
Once that’s done, you can go and purchase your compulsory Third Party Insurance also known as a ‘Green Slip’- and you are done!
If your vehicle doesn’t meet the requirements for the Pink Slip, you’ll be issued a ‘Repairs Needed’ report that will need to be addressed within 14 DAYS.
Once the repairs are carried out, a follow-up check is required.
