Car Rego time?
R & L Automotive provides pink slips (now called eSafety check inspections)
A “Pink Slip” otherwise known as an eSafety Inspection, is a report that shows your vehicle is safe and road worthy.
When you receive your Vehicle Registration papers from Service NSW, it states whether or not you’ll need to complete a Pink Slip/eSafety check.
What is an eSafety Check Inspection?
To complete the eSafety check (pink slip) inspection R & L Automotive will check:
- Tyre Quality & Tyre Tread depth
- Brake Efficiency Test
- Vehicle body condition
- Seatbelt condition
- Vehicle Electronics e.g. blinkers, interior lights, headlights
- Vehicle Engine
- Vehicle Suspension
- Vehicle Exhaust
- Vehicle Driveline condition
- Driveline & Engine fluid leaks
If your vehicle passes the Pink Slip/eSafety check, we will send a copy of the report to Transport NSW electronically.
Once that’s done, you can go and purchase your compulsory Third Party Insurance also known as a ‘Green Slip’.
If your vehicle doesn’t meet the requirements for the Pink Slip, you’ll be issued a ‘Repairs Needed’ report that will need to be addressed within 14 DAYS. Once the repairs are carried out, a follow-up check is required.
at R & L Automotive, we can complete eSafety checks for Cars, 4WD’s, Trucks, RV’s, Vans, Motorcycles and Scooters.
