What is a Fuel Injector?
A Fuel injector is a piece of automotive technology that was meant to replace carburetors.
They are used on diesel and most petrol engines and work by spraying atomised fuel directly into an internal combustion engine.
The fuel filters over time will let various contaminants through like sediment, hydrocarbons and other fuel additives. Even water attracted by the ethanol in fuel can begin to rust your injectors. These contaminants WILL eventually block the fuel injectors.
The fuel injectors, left unfixed can cause damage to your engine- and could even fail completely.
When does my car need a Fuel Injector Cleaning?
